That looks great. Did you tile it yourself?
My brother-in-law recently had a slow leak in his kitchen that destroyed his laminate flooring. He is opting for tile to replace it, and he's doing it himself - the estimates for having someone else do it were ridiculous!
Thanks - You wouldn't believe how many thousands and thousands of dollars a local flooring place wanted to do this job. When Heather got the quote, she laughed as though they were joking with her.
They weren't. And that price didn't include the subflooring and incidentals.
We're lucky though. My Dad is a carpenter by trade, has all the skills and tools and is just ridiculously generous with his time... so he put it down for us. In about 3 days. Yeah, he's awesome.
Dad taught Heather how to do the grouting.
And he asked me to help move some furniture around.
Now, when we come home it's like we have a new house.
