I voted the mantis off the island. So to speak.
Those things are so stinkin' awesome. I saw one just today, but not as clearly as yours.
I LOVE PRAYING MANTIS!! My friend found a "nest" of them not realizing it was a nest, and it hatched in the hospital she was working in.
True story. Everyone was collecting the babies in tupperware etc to take home to their gardens.
You know, the females eat the males.
Male or female, in tupperware or under the birdfeeders, they kinda give me the creeps.
And they need to stay away from my hummingbirds.
